Overview
Lynx produces the Google Cloud Summit every year. Our challenge is to ensure each event is more captivating than the last. Through meticulous planning and inspirational design, and offering services from execution to onsite management, Lynx is committed to producing a world class event.
In 2022, Lynx was asked to launch Google Cloud’s 35th region, in Israel. We came up with a series of events to generate buzz: Office Launch Party; Leaders Connect; and Google Cloud IL Summit (the Regional Launch).
The events were a tremendous success. More than 4,500 visitors attended the summit, for which we supported 24 partners. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees praising the seamless execution and engaging activities.
Concept
We began by working closely with Google Cloud’s marketing team to understand their vision and goals. We then developed a comprehensive event plan that included everything from venue selection and design, to budget and onsite management.
Results
The launch of Google Cloud’s 35th region was a tremendous success. It kicked off with an office Launch Party, to generate excitement.
Customers and partners were then invited to celebrate at two unforgettable events: Leaders Connect, and IL Cloud Summit.
Leaders Connect: a C-level leadership event for hundreds of top executives from Israel’s most important companies. Highlights included keynote lectures, live musical performances, and catering by celebrity chef, Haim Cohen.
IL Cloud Summit: 4,500+ IT decision makers and developers attended this flagship tech festival. It featured keynote talks by Google Cloud senior executives, and included 60+ sessions, six tracks, Google Cloud Showcase, 24 partner booths, Cloud Hero skills challenge, four #IamRemarkable workshops, product demos, startup boulevard, 108 featured customers – and lots of positive feedback.
Event Greening We reduced our carbon footprint by employing Watergen water tech, creating water from the air, for all drinking water. We also supplied reusable water bottles to all attendees, saving 45,000+ plastic cups.
